Fluidic Techniques Flow Nozzles are manufactured in accordance with ASME Codes and Standards. Flow Nozzles are suitable for measuring liquids and gases and are commonly used to measure steam and water flow.
Fluidic Techniques combines custom computer aided design with quality controlled manufacturing to produce Flow Nozzle Meter Runs with an accuracy of +/-2%. Fluidic Techniques Flow Nozzle Sections can be precision bored the required distance upstream and downstream of the Flow Nozzle to provide an increased accuracy of +/-1%. Flow Calibration can be performed to increase the accuracy to +/- ¼% if desired.
Model FT
Held in place between pipe flanges welded to pipe sections.
Model HR Held in place by a holding ring and pins welded in a pipe section that is bored & honed to receive the nozzle
Model WI Welded in place between two pipe sections.
Pressure measurement taps are located upstream and downstream of the Flow Nozzle.
Model FT-TT is held in place between by pipe flanges. Pressure measurement taps are located upstream of the Flow Nozzle and in the throat of the Flow Nozzle.
Flow Nozzles are available in 304SS, 316SS, Chrome-Moly, Inconel and other exotic materials upon request.
Upstream & Downstream pipe sections and flanges are provided per ASME specifications and matched to the customer's plant piping.
